Use FloorSQ as a transparent comparison aid, upload only content you are authorised to process, review every estimate and obtain professional verification for material decisions.
1. The Service
FloorSQ provides image-based extraction, dimension recognition, editable geometry and estimated floor-area outputs. Features may change as the service is improved. Results are automated estimates for general information and comparison only.
2. Eligibility and Lawful Use
You must be legally capable of using the service and comply with applicable law. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security or availability, automate abusive requests, probe restricted systems, introduce malicious code, or use outputs to mislead another person.
3. Your Uploads
You retain any rights you hold in content you upload. You confirm that you are authorised to upload and process it. You grant FloorSQ a limited permission to host, copy, transform and process the content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the service. Do not upload classified, security-sensitive or unnecessarily identifying material.
4. Estimates and Professional Decisions
FloorSQ does not provide surveying, architectural, engineering, valuation, financial, legal or real-estate advice. Plans can be incomplete, distorted or based on an unstated measurement convention. You are responsible for checking dimensions, room matches, inclusions and boundaries, and for obtaining registered documents and qualified advice before relying on a result.
5. Privacy and Data Handling
Our Privacy Policy explains how submitted content, contact details, technical information, analytics and service records are handled. Workspace edits and notes remain on the current page by default, while uploaded source and generated images are temporary job data. Explicitly choosing Save to this browser stores one complete draft and image copies in this browser profile using IndexedDB without uploading that draft. For an eligible signed-in user, separately choosing Save to Planner History copies the workspace, note and associated images into persistent Planner History storage; saved projects can be reopened or deleted from History. Server-side eligibility and quota controls apply.
6. Intellectual Property
FloorSQ, its interface, software, branding and original site content are owned by or licensed to FloorSQ and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may use service outputs for your own lawful purposes subject to rights in the source material.
7. Availability and Third-Party Services
The service may depend on hosting, storage, image-analysis and communications providers. We may suspend, limit or change features for maintenance, security, capacity or legal reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every image can be processed.
8. Liability and Consumer Rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FloorSQ is not responsible for decisions made solely from an estimate or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of an inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable result. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties; respond to unlawful use; or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions intended to continue by their nature survive termination.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably practicable.
11. Contact
